Formerly a Commissioner at the BBC in the Children and Education department, he has worked on many award winning Children’s’ brand such as Horrible Histories, Operation Ouch, Bing, Pablo, Andy and the Band. He has also worked in mainstream media on shows such as Red Dwarf, Dragons’ Den, Rough Guides, The Late Show, The Word, Chelsea Flower Show and across multiple platforms from Television, Games, Play-along, immersive storytelling, audio and digital short-form content. He’s an innovator, ideas developer and Producer and team player and a leader.
He now heads up a consultancy Unstoppable Creative Media, developing brilliant ideas alongside great people.
David Jackson

An experienced, enthusiastic arts professional who has worked as an executive producer, director, producer and commissioner in the fields of television, radio and online; Artistic Director and Managing Director of a number of musical organisations, and at a senior level in Higher Education. Always interested in work with enough scope for my creative and managerial talents. David is the Artistic Director of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World.
Susan Roberts
Director
Sue has a wealth of experience in Corporate Governance, honed from a career in the NHS as a Trust Facilities Director. As a former Director of numerous charitable bodies, she has a deep understanding of the impact of community projects and the extent to which educational and music projects can deliver social mobility.
Rhian Jenkins
Education Advisor
Rhian is head of music and a teacher of expressive arts. She is also an accompanist and conductor as well as writing curriculum content for different organisations.
Carys Jennings
Education Curriculum Advisor
Carys was a primary teacher for many years before becoming a Senior lecturer in Initial Teacher Education. She has an MA in Early Years practice and is currently undertaking her Educational Doctorate. She is a firm believer that children need exposure to all kinds of opportunities, particularly creativity and the arts.
Rebecca Kennedy
Consultant
Rebecca Kennedy is an independent English consultant. She has a range of experience teaching and supporting primary schools across the sector. Rebecca works as an associate consultant with the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE) and with the Open University as a consultant for research-based work on their Reading for Pleasure project. Her professional interests are children’s reading and writing and children’s literature. She has contributed to several United Kingdom Literacy Association publications and is on the editorial board of English 4-11. Rebecca is a committee member of the National Association of Advisers in English (NAAE) and a member of the Academic Advisory Board for Bookmark (volunteer reading charity).
Lorraine King
Singer Song Writer
Lorraine is an award-winning singer songwriter, having won S4C’s Can I Gymru, the prestigious Pan Celtic as well as the International Song writing competition. She is a regular contributor to “WORD FOR THE WEEK” for BBC Radio Wales and “PAUSE FOR THOUGHT” on BBC Radio 2. Lorraine works closely with the Alzheimer’s society as she understands the importance of music as both for entertainment and healing.
John Quirk
Music Advisor – Arranger
John Quirk has a wealth of talent and professional experience as Musical Director, arranger, composer and conductor.
He regularly works as musical director for Sir Bryn Terfel, Vanessa Mae, Cerys Matthews and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales to name but a few.
Kim Waldrock
Arts & Education Consultant
Australian Kim taught classroom music for 22 years; she wrote the music section of the Australian National Curriculum, and then became the director of learning for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. In 2015 Kim joined The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden to spearhead their education department. Kim now uses her unique expertise in education, curriculum development and the Performing Arts as a consultant, teaching and developing strategic programmes in the U.K., Europe, and Australia. Kim is an elected member of the Music Education Council U.K, a quality assessor for the Arts Council England and a Trustee of the Academy of Ancient Music.
Sian Davies
Accompanist – Workshop Leader
Sian is not only a qualified primary school teacher, but a highly respected accompanist within her own right. Alongside accompanying many of the male voice choirs in South Wales, Sian has collaborated with some of the biggest names in classical music. Sian trained at the Royal Welsh college of Music and Drama and WIAV.
Ros Evans
Soprano – Workshop Leader
Born in Swansea, Ros Evans was educated at King’s College, London and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Ros made her operatic debut with the Welsh National opera and in 2004 she made her debut at the iconic Sydney opera House. She is a highly respected vocal coach as well working with the elderly with dementia.
Victoria Joyce
Soprano – Workshop Leader
Victoria graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music. In 2003 she made her English National Opera debut. Since then Victoria has sung all over the world singing roles such as Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Victoria is also a classic model and a fully qualified Yoga teacher.
Rachel Morás
Mezzo Soprano – Workshop Leader
A graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Rachel was born and raised in Port Talbot. Her operatic roles range from the beguiling Carmen to the conqueror Julius Caesar. Rachel is a qualified teacher with experience of teaching children and adults of all ages and is a first language Welsh speaker.
Aled Powys Williams
Baritone – Workshop Leader
Aled is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He is a Classical Brit Award Winner and former member of Only Men Aloud who won BBC’s Last Choir Standing competition.
Camilla Roberts
Soprano – Workshop Leader
Camilla represented Wales in BBC Cardiff Singer of the World and has had a close relationship with Welsh National Opera and Glyndebourne throughout her career. She has taught music in numerous behavioural units as well as being a qualified classroom assistant.
Jess Robinson
Soprano – Workshop Leader
Jess graduated with a distinction from the MA Opera Course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Jess now works as a Freelance Soprano and has performed internationally as well as the British stages including venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace. Jess also works as a vocal leader for the Only Boys aloud and Forget me Not Chorus Charities.
Emily Rooke
Soprano – Workshop Leader & Makaton Tutor
Emily is a Soprano who trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as well as in Switzerland and Italy through the European Opera Academy. She was one of the first Vocal Animateur Interns to train with Welsh National Opera and strives to make opera accessible to all!
Dalma Sinka
Mezzo Soprano – Workshop Leader & Makaton Tutor
Dalma is a mezzo-soprano and a recent graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She trained as a Vocal Animateur in Welsh National Opera’s first internship of its kind, and she is excited to continue sharing the joy of opera, and making music accessible for all audiences.
Joanne Thomas
Mezzo Soprano – Workshop Leader
Studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music. Jo represented Wales in Cardiff Singer of the World and her mellow voice has taken her all over the world. Jo is a highly respected vocal coach.
Meryn Williams
Accompanist – Workshop Leader
Meryn studied at University College Cardiff. She enjoys working in all musical genres and sharing music with the next generation. She conducts two choirs as well as working for the Royal Academy of Dance, London as an examination pianist. Meryn is passionate about the importance of music therapy.
